Start with the 'ASDF' line
Cover up the other two lines with masking tape.
Select Keyboard Fun from the Main Menu
The first letter to find is 'a'
Point out to the student that 'a' is highlighted. Explain that the letters on the screen match the position of letters on the keyboard
If your keyboard has capital letters you can change the screen to have capital letters too so the keys match the screen:
Click the Capitals button in the menu bar:
The screen changes to:
Have the student find and press the 'a' key -
they will be rewarded with response, sight and sound :
Once the student has seen the pictures and heard the sound, click on 'Next ' and show that the next letter is highlighted - 's'
Point out to the student that 's' is highlighted.
Again explain that the letters on the screen match the position of letters on the keyboard.

Once the student has seen the pictures and heard the sound, click on 'Next ' and show that the next letter is highlighted - 'd' Continue this way until all letters have been pressed.
